The Social and Behavioural Aspects of Climate Change – Book Review

The book, “The Social and Behavioural Aspects of Climate Change: Linking Vulnerability, Adaptation and Mitigation,” based on the research programme “Vulnerability, Adaptation and Mitigation” (VAM) which ran from 2004 to 2010, funded by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), presents case studies of industries, communities and institutions which show how vulnerability, adaptation and mitigation analyses can be integrated using social behavioural sciences. First Map of Global Forest Heights Created from NASA Data

Scientists have produced a first-of-its-kind map of the height of the world’s forests by combining data from three NASA satellites.
