Delhi
Bursting at the seams with teaming millions, and with more and more people landing on its pavements everyday looking for better employment, better education, better life, Delhi landed at third position in the cities’ ranking, and shared the space with Mumbai. With an overall score of 2.90, Delhi, in its 100th year as the country’s capital, scored high for social infrastructure and commuting, and low for social/cultural values.
Qutub Minar, Delhi
- Delhi got the score of 2.10 for parking facilities, which was higher than any other city, but still kept the city’s rating to “poor” in this parameter.
- Delhi also got the highest score for traffic management, but again this score of 2.40 managed to keep the city rating to “poor”.
- Delhi scored the highest for open spaces (2.90), sporting facilities (2.90 which it shares with Hyderabad) and quality of air (2.70 which it shares with Ahmedabad), but even these scores keep it in “average” rating.
- The survey respondents ranked Delhi as top city in education with 3.80 score for both schools and colleges.
